Job Description:

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of contracts in the field and driving continuous improvement initiatives with business partners at the site. The Contract Specialist is also accountable for leading local, site specific agreements to meet a specific business need and for ensuring robust execution of RtP processes at the site.

Contracts Specialists actively work with various Category and Procurement Managers, Technical & Maintenance Managers, and other site-based teams to identify optimal procurement strategies utilizing the Streamline Category Management Process (CMP). Contracts Specialists are responsible for leading the implementation of these strategies while negotiating site contracts to meet a number of local/regional challenges. Additionally, Contracts Specialists are responsible to work with the business to deliver robust contract management on existing agreements to ensure the deals are delivering the anticipated benefits.

All of this is focused on reducing the costs to the business and driving out waste while ensuring the security of supply to ongoing operations.
