Procurement Contracts Administrator Duties and Responsibilities Procurement Contracts & Amendments Be familiar with contract terms and conditions of each contract Draft \/ review contracts and amendment\/change order documents as requested by Client Respond to Client and Company questions about interpretation of terms of Project contracts as requested Assist in obtaining contractor performance in providing items required under contract terms Assist Client in pursuing back charges against contractors per Client request Assist Client in contract closeout as requested \u00a0 Invoices Review contractor pay requests for compliance with contract terms and general progress of the work, including: progress is consistent with requested payment scrutiny of amounts remaining vs. scope remaining inclusion of partial and final lien releases application of retainage withholding, where applicable, and release of retainage \u00a0 Change Management Review contractor change notices and\/or change order requests against provisions of their contract to verify validity of request Verify any unit rates in contract are correctly applied Verify reasonableness of unit rates where unit rates are not provided in contract Insure elements of cost are not included for items already compensated under contract (indirects and long term rented equipment) Assist in resolution of questions about scope definition (i.e. already included or are excluded) Insure that resulting change orders are not implemented until Client funding approvals are completed \u00a0 Contractor Meetings Coordinate new contractor kick-off (pre-mobilization) meetings Attend ongoing contractor coordination meetings as needed Lead efforts of dispute resolution about interpretation of contract requirements, as requested by Client \u00a0 Contractor Correspondence Generate and respond to contractor formal correspondence (typically for Client signature) Insure formal correspondence is consistent with contract terms and requirements Qualifications BA\/BS in related field or applicable discipline preferred, or equivalent years\u2019 experience. Expert knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted procedures. Generally 5 years of experience in the energy sector and 10 years of Contracts experience. Possesses and is recognized as a functional expert and thought leader within the Supply Chain department and broader organization. Anticipates complex internal and external business issues with impact on the organization and can recommend innovative program and\/or program solutions. Contributes to strategic Supply Chain program development. Advanced proficiency with applicable software applications in related field. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Accuracy and attention to detail critical. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is critical. The ability to effectively communicate in English and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting complex program proposals and reports to senior level management is critical. Strong ability to persuade and influence others is critical. Ability to maintain confidential information is critical. Typically will regularly interface with departmental staff, management and with outside customers.
