Plant Contract Coordinator -- Specialist II (R18-378)
In this role, you’ll coordinate and plan maintenance work, documenting data records for preventive and predictive maintenance using computerized maintenance management systems and other software programs. This position requires thorough knowledge of Maximo, Logica-ARM Scheduler, PeopleSoft and MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
You will support our journey by:
Providing administrative support to plant manager, owner’s committee and all plant staff, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, preparing agendas, taking and publishing minutes, including producing handouts and materials for meetings and presentations; composing correspondence, completing reports, verifying consistency and completeness of documents; creating, reviewing and maintaining plant policies and procedures; maintaining vendor and support contact information for the plant; and making travel arrangements for plant staff.
Preparing schedules for all plant maintenance work, using applicable scheduling software including tracking preventive maintenance, calibrations and inspections. Reviewing and closing work orders to ensure completeness in data base records. Running special reports and quires using software programs and other information as needed in support of management.
Monitoring work plans and schedules for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, capital projects, annual scheduled outage maintenance and forced outage maintenance. Establishing priorities based on Maximo data and input from foremen and engineering.
Interfacing with storeroom and warehouse personnel, engineering and craft foremen to determine material needs and availability for plant maintenance and operations. Coordinating purchasing and inventory control activities.
Developing, updating and analyzing reports for plant maintenance and key performance indicators (KPI’s), budgeting, safety and training. Running special reports and queries from Maximo and PeopleSoft, creating spreadsheets, charts, graphs and other information needed in support of management.
Implementing changes to Maximo work instructions, job plans and plant procedures.
You will bring the following skills to our team:
Associate’s degree and 3 years of applicable experience in administration maintenance or operations of electric utility generating plant. Additional experience can be substituted for the degree.
Working knowledge of scheduling tools and processes.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, MAXIMO or other CMMS, especially the PM and work order functions.
Through knowledge of various computer applications including SharePoint, PowerPoint and MS office suite.
Excellent organizational and human relationship skills with a strong ability to work with a variety of people, internal clients, union craft people, customers, and external suppliers and vendors.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent planning and scheduling skills or experience.
Valid Driver’s license with a driving record that demonstrates safe driving practices.
Regularly pass a criminal and identity background check in compliance with FERC, NERC, WECC, and CIP regulations.
Working knowledge of corporate budgeting process and reports.
