Contracts Analyst Position Summary:
Agile is accepting local applications for the position of Contracts Analyst. Primary responsibilities include preparation, negotiation, and award of contracts, bids and/or requests for proposals; issuing purchase orders; expediting goods and services and dispute resolution with suppliers; and other purchasing related tasks. You will be working onsite at our customers location. Our customer is a major utility that we have long-term contracts with.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and five years of related professional experience or equivalent is required.
Candidates must have a high
degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel
Successful candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in preparing (writing contract), reviewing, processing, managing, and administering contracts, bids and request for proposals and have good oral and written communication skills with the ability to write concise, logical, analytical reports.
Investigative and problem-solving skills are required.
A knowledge of various procurement policies, in a utility or construction industry are preferred.
A Professional Purchasing Related Certification such as a C.P.M., CPPO, or CPPM is a plus.
