Purpose• Supports one to two relationships, contracts and accounts utilized by government, education, and health care customers. • Typically supports contracts delivering, or with the potential to deliver, $10 to $50 million in annual sales.','!*!• Coordinate bid responses to organizations that manage cooperative, group or multiple award schedule contracts.• Provide regular reviews of other cooperative contracts and programs and make recommendations for new contracts to pursue.• Foster sales activities to targeted accounts, drive sales growth and cultivate key relationships to promote the Company to contract managers and customers.• Participate in industry activities (shows/seminars/conferences) that foster further sales opportunities with customers utilizing contracts. • Integrate strategic suppliers into the sales process, to drive stronger value propositions in both directions, and monitor results.• Coordinate regular training and updates for the Company on applicable industry trends, contract updates, and best practices.• Schedule regular reviews with Proposal and Implementation team, to make sure sales deals are current, and identify the new negotiations required to drive profitable sales growth.• Coordinate with internal resources to ensure the Company’s web presence, marketing and communications, and collateral materials applicable to assigned contracts are relevant and current.
RequirementsMinimum Job Requirements• Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience required• Demonstrated success in supporting sales and/or sales management• Industry accreditation in market (third party training/designations) required• Extensive experience in contract management required
Preferred Job Requirements• Four-year degree
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge• Knowledge of the Company’s Code of Business Ethics• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)• Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts• General understanding of representations for customers and contracts• Knowledge of industry trends in the market and their impact on sales opportunities• General knowledge of resources specialized in contract and market• Knowledge of cooperative contracts, group purchasing, multiple award task order contracts, and other contract types
Skills• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point• Proficient in SAP• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Abilities• Ability to multi-task and manage relationships, contracts, and accounts with less complex decision structures• Ability to prioritize multiple demands • Ability to coordinate between Corporate, District and Branch business teams• Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization• Ability to collaborate with other Corporate Sales resources and achieve results• Ability to understand competitive contracts in the industry and develop plans to differentiate the Company’s services• Ability to review contract language and collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare winning bids and project responses
Working ConditionsTraditional office environment. Frequent travel required.
