Contract Support Specialist
Must be eligible to obtain Agency Suitability
XLA is looking for a Contract Support Specialist to support our government Client in Arlington, VA. The purposed requirement is to provide supplemental support to enhance operational performance of the HR Division. In addition, to daily contractual support, administrative support services shall be provided for purchase card requests to include approval of purchases. The Contractor shall provide the business knowledge of Federal Contracting and skills to provide support to senior staff under the scope of work for specific consulting projects, logistical, administrative, and document management functions.
Responsibilities are as follows:
Receives and determines proper documentation/forms for request for contracts, reimbursable agreements for services or products
Prepares SOWs,DEA-19s and Determination of Findings and other contract documents needed for MOUs,Acquisition Awards, etc.
Maintains hard copies and electronic files/records
Assists with contract procedural aspects, expediting the work of HR
Makes contact, when appropriate, with other HR Sections, other internal offices, outside vendors and other Federal agencies to acquire required data
Monitors the output from UFMS systems and initiates and/or completes the necessary actions required to correct errors
Will serve as a liaison with Office of Acquisition Management, providing requested requirements under the guidance of Federal Contracting officer
Reviews all purchase card transactions in UFMS ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to according to the Purchase Card Approves purchase cards transaction after review in UFMS
Reviews Purchase card holder reports for accuracy and validity
Develops spreadsheets, tracking tools, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office suite
Performs other related duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience or High School Diploma and 10 years of experience
Has experience approving purchase card transactions
Has experience reviewing and analyzing contracting data for accuracy
Possesses applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Has demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing
Has the ability to obtain Agency Suitability
