\t\t\tThis is an ideal opportunity for someone that desires to jump start a career in Procurement.\u00a0 The Outsourcing Specialist I will be responsible, but not limited to, for Procurement and Strategic Outsourcing activities, and to ensure fair vendor selection at fair value.\u00a0 Must be detail-oriented, aggressive, and a fast learner.\u00a0 Examine deals with perspective of commercial knowledge and contractual clauses (such as indemnity, liability, insurance, guarantees etc.).\u00a0 Will work with Project Leads and to understand and define scope of work, negotiate prices on quotes received by vendors, arrange for alternative quotes if necessary to help negotiate.\u00a0 In addition, the Outsourcing Specialist I will be responsible for identifying and screening vendors, negotiating terms and conditions favorable to client, driving improved vendor service levels, minimizing risk while improving clients business results, and adhere to business, regulatory and Procurement processes.\u00a0\r
\t\t\t\tAssist with all aspects of outsourcing, negotiations, strategy, tool and process implementation for procurement related to goods and services.\r
\t\t\t\tDeliver business partner satisfaction and achievement of overall business and financial objectives.\r
\t\t\t\tNegotiate favorable contractual terms and conditions with vendors.\r
\t\t\t\tBuilds strong relationships with internally and externally with vendors, fostering collaboration and teamwork.\r
\t\t\t\tDevelop and implement efficiencies, standardized tools, practices and procedures shortening the quotation, RFP and decision making and evaluation time.\r
\t\t\t\tAssist with implementing reviewing, and maintaining procurement policies on a regular basis to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and ensure compliance with internal and applicable regulatory policies.\r
\t\t\t\tEnsures process documents are complete, current, communicated and stored appropriately.\r
\t\t\t\tIdentify the best suitable vendors and initiate business partnerships.\r
\t\t\t\tExamine and re-evaluate existing contracts as needed to place in the best contractual position possible without jeopardizing quality and deliverables.\r
\t\t\t\tTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.\r
\t\t\t\tCollaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.\r
\t\t\t\tAnticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.\r
\t\t\t\tPerform risk management regarding supply & service contracts and agreements.\r
\t\t\t\tProvides reports on procurement metrics and results to department leadership.\r
\t\t\t\tConsistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with company values.\u00a0\r
\t\t\t\tBA/BS in business, finance, purchasing or related field or equivalent related work experience.\r
\t\t\t\tSelf-starter with excellent business/financial acumen, proficient working with cross-functional teams, including demonstrated motivation, influence, and the ability to drive change across all levels of the organization.\r
\t\t\t\tOutstanding negotiation skills.\r
\t\t\t\tExcellent vendor management skills including demonstrated ability to develop and manage business driven vendor executive relationships.\r
\t\t\t\tSolid computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.\u00a0 Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.\u00a0\r
\t\t\t\tStrong attention to detail required as work prepared by this position is presented to executive management for use in decision making.\u00a0\r
\t\t\t\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r
\t\t\t\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.\r
