In this role you will perform subcontract management duties in support of the procurement of parts and services for Fleet Ballistic Missile Program activities. Responsibilities will include:• Proactively manage the complete lifecycle for the procurement of assigned items from identification of initial need, solicitation and review of offers, price analysis, order placement, delivery status and track SDRLs (Subcontract Data Required Line Items) for assigned subcontracts through acceptance• Support Subcontract Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for assigned subcontracts. Typical IPT includes the SPM, Engineering, and QA representatives, and utilizes representatives from Planning, Prod Ops, Quality, Systems Integration, CDM and other functional representatives as required• Interact with various program planning and subcontract personnel to ensure desired results• Resolve supplier performance issues, resolve internal programmatic issues that may affect supplier performance, and remedy accounts payable /invoicing issuesLockheed Martin Space offers a total compensation package from competitive wages, on-site medical care, 25 three-day weekends, and healthy living incentives just to name a few reasons to join Lockheed Martin Space.Basic Qualifications• P2P/MRP familiarity• Subcontract administration or purchasing/buying related experience• Negotiation skills• Strong communication skills• Organizational skills• Experience with Microsoft Office tools• Must be a United States citizen• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearanceDesired skills• Prefer candidates with a Bachelors degree• Previous experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain roles in a Government Procurement environment with FAR and DFAR experience• Experience with multiple contracting types: Firm Fixed Price, FPI and Cost Plus Fixed Fee• Working knowledge of one or more of the following: contract/subcontract administration, cost and pricing, program control, management of schedules, acquisition, procurement, or legal contracts • Ability to apply knowledge to assist in subcontracts administration and other areas of the supply chain efforts • Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and program management• Accuracy and attention to details• Ability to provide accurate and timely status and manage multiple efforts at the same time• Must be a team player and able to adapt to changing environment and critical schedule deadlines• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to multi-task• Self-starter and goal oriented• Active Secret clearanceAs a leading technology innovation company, Lockheed Martin's vast team works with partners around the world to bring proven performance to our customers' toughest challenges.
