Job Description The Contracts Manager position handles government contract process from \cradle to grave.\ Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GSA Schedules, contract administration and subcontract administration required. Knowledge of FAA AMS (Acquisition Management Systems) a huge plus. Responsibilities: Prepare subcontract agreements and reports, teaming agreements and non-disclosure documentation. Analyze significant, and\/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicates results effectively.\u00a0 Assist internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity. Focal point for all communication with law, finance and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes. Review complex solicitations and prepares specialized and\/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Cost analysis and pricing of government contract proposals.\u00a0 Development and production of cost proposals and ensuring the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements, government regulations (FAR) and established review\/approval process. Qualifications Number of Years Experience Required: 10 years experience in federal government contract and subcontracts administration Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree in a related discipline Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills; the ability to work and excel independently; strong time management skills Ability to interface with all levels Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to change Experience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost\/price analysis Knowledge of SCA, DBA, FAR\/DFAR and CAS compliant requirements Understand Federal schedule pricing and regulations Understand DCAA requirements Preferred Skills: FAA AMS knowledge\/experience a plus NASA knowledge\/experience a plus Candidates selected may be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
