Pharmacy OneSource, which is part of Clinical Software Solutions, is currently seeking a Contracts Management Representative to work in our Madison, WI office. This position could also be a work from home opportunity, but there will be a requirement to come into the Madison, WI office, for training and meetings, as needed.
The person will draft, negotiate and finalize software license (and related) agreements, which includes preparation, filing, evaluating, revising and closure. The Contracts Management Representative will also identify and measure trends so that potential process improvement areas and business reporting can be published in support of the Contract Management Department. The successful candidate will also administer Business Associate, Non-Disclosure, Professional Services, and third party contracts as needed. The Contract Management Representative, under the direction of the VP, Client Service Operations, will perform the standard duties of the entire contracting process, including working with WK Legal and compliance as appropriate. CSS is looking for a highly self-motivated, proactive, who works well on a team as well as independently to perform the essential duties.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Ensures preparation, examination, review, revision, approval and execution on standard and non-standard contract modifications in accordance with corporate guidelines. Experience with software license agreements.
Works directly with the sales team, and other departments prepares and administers correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal.
Provide redlined recommendations.
Exposure to a variety of challenging business environments leading to sound collaboration and problem resolution
Assist in updating and maintaining standard software license agreements as required.
Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.
Monitor, analyze and facilitate on-going contract compliance, to ensure compliance with the applicable terms and conditions, appropriate laws, regulations, and polices.
Assist (as necessary) in the identification of tools for software based contract management, as well as the transition from manual contract management to software based contract management, including document review, data input, critical analysis, and procedural consideration.
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness.
Lead and contribute to the development of contract management policies and procedures
Develop and manage metrics reporting in collaboration with Manager
Minimum 3 years' experience executing and/or managing contracts, technology preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: (First list requirements, followed by preferences.)
Strong analytical and contract formation, preparation, drafting, review, management and negotiation skills required
Strong technology contract negotiations and vendor management background preferred
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Intermediate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) knowledge required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong team-work focus
Ability to think strategically, using business know how in problem solving
Ability to work independently
Must be able to manage timelines and multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, perform analyses and identify solutions to resolve specific business issues
