Our award-winning sales team is looking to hire a Contract Manager. This is a key role in the selling process. You will be in charge of all aspects of each sale from the moment we receive (or write) an offer to the day the sale is closed. At any given time, you will be responsible for a pipeline of approximately 20 contingent contracts (150-200 per year). In this capacity, you will be the primary point of communication with our clients, attorneys, lenders, inspectors and appraisers. While much of your work can be accomplished in the office, you will also be in the field attending appointments in our clients’ homes and going to closings downtown.
In this key role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the process from contract to closing goes smoothly and that our clients feel they are important, and their needs are our team’s highest priority. You will know you are doing your job well when you are able to create raving fans.
The ideal candidate has strong transaction management experience, either in real estate or in a related industry like mortgage, title, insurance or law. As an ambassador of our brand, you are highly detail oriented, keep a tight rein on all deadlines and contingencies, proactively manage expectations, and trouble shoot potential hurdles before they arise. For many of our clients, the process of moving and selling can be very stressful. Your high EQ and capacity to be a compassionate listener and an empathetic partner will be integral to your success. You are also tech-savvy and ideally have your own car.
