Job Description
Our well established and aggressive world class manufacturing client with facilities around the globe has an exciting new full time position for an individual who thrives on challenges and success. The Program Manager will:\r \r \rPrimary purpose:\rTo act as primary point of contact for numerous customer programs and contract schedules, act as the plant’s point of contact for effective communications of established schedules and changes to planning.    \r \r \rKey responsibilities:\rv  Successful planning, controlling and managing major customer programs from pre-production activities to full rate production.\rv  Works closely with Plant Production, Quality and Engineering personnel to ensure that production schedules are completed in accordance with customer expectations, contractual rights, obligations, and meets budgetary requirements. \rv  Work with internal plant resources on program status to provide Daily /\rWeekly /Monthly Demand reporting on key programs \rv  Act as both the customer and plant advocate in the translation of schedules, management of production and customer needs.  \rv  Verifies that new equipment and tooling is ordered in a manner so that production is able to increase their capacity at the optimum time to meet customer orders.\rv  Works with plant purchasing to ensure the supply chain is ready to support the new launch and ongoing total demand requirements.\rv  Validating that production schedules are created to ensure that customer orders are filled and product is delivered to customers as requested.\rv  Works closely with the sales team to understand customer forecasts and is the voice of the customer at the plant.\rv  Completes analysis and reporting to justify increases to manufacturing capacity.\rv  Host customer visits and coordinate appropriate resources in the preparation of program and plant performance report outs.    \rv  Work with Sales, Planning, Operational and Engineering Managers to ensure scheduled \rv  Makes suggestions to Sales Manager, GM and Management teams on matters pertaining to the improvement of the operations and reports any significant current or anticipated deviations from schedules, budgets or other requirements. \rv  Maintaining forecast demand in anticipation of future Customer orders\rAbility to learn and perform as back up to Contract Administrator, as required.\r \r \rCompetencies:\rv  Customer focus:  Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. \rv  Action orientated: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. \rv  Plans and aligns:  Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals. \rv  Ensures accountability:  Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. \rv  Drives results:  Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances. \rv  Collaborates:  Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. \rv  Communicates effectively:  Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. \rv  Courage:  Stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said. \rv  Instils trust:  Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. \r\rSelf-development:  Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels\rv  Effective communications and excellent presentation skills required.\rv  Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and coordinate efforts with colleagues from multiple functional areas required\rv  Strong relationship building skills required\rv  Strong understanding of effective project management and tools to leverage required\rv  Self-starter with a proven track record of delivering results \rv  Experience in a Manufacturing environment and with Manufacturing Planning required\rv  Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, MS Project, Advanced Excel, MS Office), SalesForce and Manufacturing ERP systems\rv  Experience with Contracts Administration preferred\rv  Desire to take on additional responsibilities related to Sales Development and Contract Negotiation preferred  \r\rOur client offers a very competitive wage and benefits package as well as opportunity to grow and advance within a successful workforce.\r\rPlease send resumes to\r\rRSLLC\r54 Fremont Street\rNew London, CT 06320\r 

Job Requirements
