Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a\u00a0Contract Administrator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. Essential Functions: - Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. - Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting\u00a0from an accredited institution 10 years of\u00a0Contracts or Subcontracts\u00a0experience in an Aerospace Environment\u00a0 6 years of experience in detailed proposal preparation, review and negotiations Current Secret Clearance (in scope within the last\u00a06 years) required to start and the ability to obtain special program access. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Business Administration,\u00a0from an accredited institution Minimum of\u00a012 years of Contracts or Subcontracts experience in an Aerospace Environment Large scale proposal environment experience, including\u00a0large scale negotiations\u00a0 Large scale\/fast paced\u00a0program execution experience Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
