Tribalco has an immediate opening for a Senior Contracts Administrator in its Corporate Office located in Bethesda, MD. This position reports to the General Counsel and is responsible for cradle to grave administration and monitoring of contract performance on government prime contracts and subcontracts. The candidate will assist in all aspects of contract administration, proposal activity, negotiating changes to existing contracts and subcontracts, reporting and closeout activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in major government contracts, including DOD contracts, as well as in federal acquisition regulations, contract requirements, and other legal requirements for doing business with the United States government.
Administer, issue, review, draft and negotiate contracts and agreements including but not limited to NDAs, TAs, prime contracts, subcontracts, reseller agreements, business licenses and various other contractual documents as needed.
Provide expert guidance relative to the FAR/DFARS and its general application to business as well as specific application to specific issues and opportunities that arise.
Provide support and contractual advice to project managers and other operations personnel.
Implement process improvements and tools required for the contracts function.
Interface with Business and Finance leaders to ensure compliance with Company Policy, procedures and controls with regard to areas that are governed by the FAR.
Administer modifications to GSA schedules
Specific Skills Required:
Cradle to grave experience with Federal Contracts, specifically DoD contracts
Experience with Cost Plus, T&M and FFP contracts with a demonstrated knowledge of contract terms and conditions
Experience with GSA Schedules and other GWAC instruments
Experience in processing and managing contracts and subcontracts in a complex, federal government setting
Thorough understanding of FAR and DFARS
Bid preparation experience a plus.
Strong communication skills, organized with excellent follow up skills, ability to think creatively and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic team oriented environment
Ability to provide good customer service to internal/external clients, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled at MS Office, comfortable using mobile communications and SharePoint. Preferred
Experience with Costpoint 7
Experience with procurement and materials-based contracts
Experience negotiating commercial contracts and reseller agreements
Strong knowledge of FAR part 12
Required Experience and Education:
5 years minimum experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree a plus.
Contract certifications preferred
