Sr. Contracts Manager for Honeywell International Inc., Tempe, AZ.
Provide overall contract management, including review, drafting, negotiation, flow-down and interpretation of terms and conditions, and other contract documents, as well as baseline change management, invoice management and purchase order review for assigned accounts, including major commercial development programs.
Identify and mitigate risks connected with non-standard conditions proposed in contractual documents.
Discover unstated needs and expectations and communicate concerns and issues clearly to the business.
Advise internal clients on legal and contractual requirements and enforce company’s short- and long-term objectives in coordination with business and functional leadership.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures applicable to contracting and contract management by liaising with the Law department and other stakeholders within the business for review and approval of unusual terms.
Provide advice, training and mentorship to junior colleagues within the contract management team and serve as a point of escalation for resolving complex and non-routine contract issues.
Approximately 10% domestic/international travel required.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management, Law or related field and four (4) years of experience in the position offered or acceptable alternate occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in specified fields and six (6) years of specified experience. Other skills must include: experience managing contracts for a large, multinational corporation; experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing major development contracts; experience with international contracting; contract law; SAP; Ariba; training and mentoring other employees to facilitate their development as contract managers. Approximately 10% domestic/international travel.
