Profile

Position Summary:
Contract activity with low to moderate risk to business unit, per standard policy. Includes defined, repetitive functions. Typically handles routine or standard form contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with established contract policies and procedures.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
· Reviews low risk solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids and contract modifications. Prepares solicitation files and proposal schedules as directed. · Oversees corporate socio-economic and business certifications · Completes and executes government and industry representations and certifications (reps and certs) · Prepares contract files and completes required file check lists to ensure contract files contains documents requirement by company policies and procedures. · Creates project budgets · Responsible for funds and man-hour reporting · Performs monthly invoice reviews and validation and Estimates to Complete · Performs contracts administration and compliance oversight · Processes Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders · Ensures contract orders, receiving reports and invoices match · Reviews quote requests and provides contract department support in preparation of quotes based on established prices lists, e.g. GSA Schedules, ID/IQ contracts with established pricing, corporate Commercial Price List. · Provides audit assistance as directed by management. · Maintains and Tracks CDRL submission and delivery for each contract. · Conducts contract kick-off meetings and maintains meeting minutes as required · Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
Qualifications/Skill and Knowledge:
HS with 4-7 years of experience or Associates Degree with 2-4 years, or a combination of education and experience. This requirement can be waived by the manager and/or HR.
Familiarity with Deltek budget and accounting system a plus
Basic internet skills
Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills
Basic knowledge of standard business policies and procedures.
Basic knowledge of contracting concepts, e.g. UCC, FAR/DFAR
Analytical and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to work in a team environment and complete tasking within assigned time frames.
