Job Description : Subcontract\/Purchase Order placement and administration on the Javelin program. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate to high risk performance specification and complex build to print subcontracts for DOD and international programs. duties include preparation of bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, selects or recommends subcontractors, performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies, participates\/leads negotiations, subcontract\/PO documentation, invoice reconciliation and payment, negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to the subcontracts, interface with government clients, technical personnel and other functional organizations. Leads or is a member of of multi-functional subcontract management teams (SMT\/IPT). Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity which require the regular use of innovation and follow through. Work with program management and other areas of the business for timely conclusion of contract matters and resolution of issues. Works under very general supervision Basic Qualifications Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Proficient computer skills including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, specialized application software associated function (Procure to Pay). Detail and Teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Demonstrated problem solving skills. Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions. Self motived, demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership of tasks and accountable Work independently and in a team environment Demonstrated ability to lead a team Works with all levels of management Desired skills Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense industry.
