Subcontracts Administrator - Reston, VA

Conducts request for proposal preparations and competitions for supplies and se rvices. Performs subcontract negotiations, and administration of major subcontr acts. Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment, and production costs. Monitors suppliers performance for conformance to original proposal and mainta in continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that t he subcontractor is performing in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. Prepares and disseminates informati on throughout the company regarding subcontract status, compliance, modificatio n, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Initiates documentation to authoriz e and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepares speci al reports and analyses as required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices , and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment t o plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general s upervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May lead a nd direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Exp erience must include working in a government contracting environment. Degree mu st be in Business Administration or related field. Additional training in contr act law also required.

Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community.
