Contract Administrator II
Manage multiple complex contracts in support of our internal and external customers
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of FAR best practices, to include source selection and justification, negotiations, and compliance requirements
Serves as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve issues
Participates in special projects as required
Review existing and proposed contracts for completeness and clarity.
Complete Contract Brief
Maintain both Hard/Soft copy of contract documents
Complete complex tasks related to the creation and execution of the contracts.
Utilizes Deltek to generate reports to track the status of contract actions and submit monthly deliverables to customer.
Help perform final closeout of assigned contracts; e.g., assures delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of negotiation tactics
Must have in-depth knowledge of contract types such as fixed-price, T&M, cost reimbursable
Familiar with FAR/DFAR and special provisions
Mission-oriented team player, with strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to multitask, work independently, and manage time and workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 5-7 years of related procurement experience
Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
Membership with NCMA
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields or an additional four (4) years of applicable experience
Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance
