Fulltime Waltham, MA Operations & Admin
Responsible for supporting our fast-growing Enterprise Data Storage company and its legal team. Provide practical, timely and high quality legal advice with regard to customer facing agreements including complex contracts. Reporting directly to the Company’s General Counsel.
Develop contract templates, contracts, agreements, eval agreements and other legal documents to align with business goals and market trends.
Communicate and negotiate with external parties, including but not limited to external customers and suppliers on contracts (resale/distribution/other collaboration business models), software licenses to include open source, technology co-operations and OEMs and other agreements such as NDAs and RFPs.
Research and evaluate different risk factors and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
Analyze, manage and resolve contract disputes within tight deadlines.
Quickly prioritize and respond to commercial contract issues, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Establish and maintain the integrity of all master agreement files and contract clause files/templates and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
Advise, counsel and train company employees and management on ethics and compliance issues.
Develop relationships of confidence, trust and respect.
Work closely with Finance, Sales, Professional Services and Support.
Handle administrative aspects of the position – document management and oversight.
Required Skills & Experience:
D. from a well-recognized institution, barred in MA or a state with reciprocity to M.A
4-6 years of experience in practicing commercial law
At least 3 years of private practice experience preferred
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial legal documentation (software licensing, software and hardware resale and distribution agreements, OEM transactions, maintenance and support, professional services etc.)
Independent, fast learner and thorough.

Strength and ability in influencing and negotiation
Business savvy advisor with strong work ethic

Ability to communicate effectively in a technological multi-cultural environment.
