Contracts manager jobs require a BS or BA degree and 8-10 years of experience. A contracts manager must have proven written and verbal communication skills based on a solid command of government contract terminology and English language and grammar. A contracts manager should have the ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and perform all duties of contract administration. Contracts managers should also have the ability to research complex contractual documents for interpretive purposes.
